Niagara Falls is located in the north of America’s east coast. Our tour will last two days and it will be a fascinating and informative journey. We will start from Brooklyn and learn its history, how and when this big city became a part of the big New York. And further crossing several states, we will get acquainted with the history of America from the very beginning and the first people to the present day.
From beads to iPhones
Before arriving at Niagara Falls, we will visit the town of Corning with its unique glass factory and visit an equally unique museum. You will learn all the secrets of glass making through the history of civilization to the present day. It will be an immersion into the history of world civilizations, from the first beads, to the iPhone. The museum and the store at the museum will allow you to get acquainted with the best artistic designs, and buy inexpensive gifts for you and your loved ones (there are always discounts in the store).
American Indian Tales
Next, the road to the falls will take us through historic Indian Territories and we will learn about the Native American people. We will learn their legends and tales and visit their ceremonial sites at Watkins Glen, and then learn the secrets of the Finger Lakes as we drive along the largest and most fabulous Seneca Lake, named after the Native American tribe you will learn about.
Why don’t we have some wine?
Things will be very uneventful as the next stop on the way to Niagara Falls will be in American Switzerland at the famous Glenora Winery. There you will be able to taste various wines from local wineries, purchase your favorites and enjoy the views of the vineyards and beautiful Seneca Lake.
City of Buffalo. From bulls to wings.
The last stop before Niagara Falls is New York State’s second city. A city with an interesting history that began in the 19th century and continues to this day. The ups and downs. University and empty streets. We will finish our city sightseeing tour in a very atmospheric place, having dinner in one of the most interesting restaurants in the city. And of course, we’ll try Buffalo’s signature wings. And we’ll move on to the Niagara River at night.
Niagara Falls
We will see the falls at night and during the day. These are two experiences that complement each other perfectly and create a complete picture of one of America’s wonders. The night light show from the top of the observation deck will end with a fabulous fireworks display and make you feel like an enthusiastic child. And after a night in a comfortable hotel, we will see the morning Niagara Falls aboard a boat. The jets of the falls will wash over you and leave you with unforgettable emotions. The power of turquoise water flying from the height. The rainbows and the beautiful “Maiden of the waterfall” will give you happy moments that will stay with you for years to come. Whirlpool. Water in the service of people.
Another wonder on the river is the famous Whirlpool. We will learn a lot of interesting things and see a unique natural phenomenon. Then we will drive to the Hydroelectric Plant where we will learn how the waters of the river serve man. We will learn the history of Edison and Tesla and look into our payments for electricity from a different angle. It will all be very interesting and educational.
This will conclude our obligatory program, but on the way to New York we will learn many more interesting things. During the whole tour there will be visits to cafes, restaurants and buffets, as well as sanitary stops. A good tourist is a well-fed tourist.
