Welcome to Our Project!
We create virtual tours of the Metropolitan Museum of Art so that anyone—no matter where they are—can dive into the history of art, explore fascinating civilizations, and examine magnificent artifacts with their own eyes, even if visiting the museum in person is not possible.
What is happening with the project right now?
A large archive has already been gathered on the platform—around 13 hours of video material covering a wide variety of eras (from Ancient Egypt and Antiquity to Byzantium, the Renaissance, Baroque, and The Met Cloisters collections). You are welcome to freely watch these videos in the archive section.
However, life moves forward. With the emergence of artificial intelligence in our lives, incredible new possibilities for visualization have opened up. We decided not to stop there and are currently actively redesigning the project: making the videos more dynamic, beautiful, and modern using AI technology.
We are in the middle of the update process, so part of the material is being reworked while the older versions remain accessible. We apologize for any possible delays and thank you for your patience—we are doing everything we can to make the journey into the world of art even more exciting!
